Registering for Programs
There are three ways to register for most YMCA Calgary programs:
1. Online (Members only)
2. By Phone
- Have your Visa/MasterCard/American Express ready, as well as the code for the program you are interested in.
- Call any branch.
- Pick up your receipt prior to your first class. For security reasons, identification must be shown when picking up receipts for credit card purchases.
3. In Person
- Register at Member Services. If possible, bring the course code for the program you are interested in.
- Pay by cheque, cash, Visa/MasterCard/American Express, account credit, gift certificate or debit card. Gift certificates must be presented at time of registration.
Program and Service fees are subject to GST where applicable.

Program Notes
- Children must be the age listed in the brochure when the class starts.
- The YMCA reserves the right to cancel, postpone or combine classes based on enrolment. Refunds or account credits will be issued where applicable.
- To register for YMCA Bishop McNally day camps, contact Crowfoot, Eau Claire, Shawnessy or South YMCA branches.
- NSF Cheques, pre-authorized bank account debits and pre-authorized credit card payments are subject to a $25 administration fee if declined. Up-to-date payment information must be provided.

Program Cancellation and Refunds
- Cancellations made less than seven days before the program start date will incur a 25% cancellation fee based on the full program fee.
- Cancellations made after the course starts with a note from a medical doctor will receive a pro-rated refund from the cancellation date.
- Cancellations made after the course starts, without a note from a medical doctor, will receive a pro-rated refund from the cancellation date, with a 25% cancellation fee.
- Any refunds from cancelled programs will remain on your account as a credit unless you request a refund. Refunds made by cheque are subject to a $10 charge. If you paid by debit of credit card, there is no charge to refund back to your card.
- Exchanges (course swapping) are processed at no extra charge (space permitting).

Waiting List Guidelines
- Members have priority.
- Programs are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- People on waiting lists will only be phoned if a spot becomes available in the wait-listed course, or for classes that have been added on their preferred day.
