Day Camp

YMCA Calgary offers a variety of fun, values-based day camps during the summer holidays and school breaks. YMCA day camps are designed for children ages three to 13, and Leadership day camps are available for youth ages 14 to 15. Day camps are offered at the Crowfoot YMCA, Eau Claire YMCA, Shawnessy YMCA and South YMCA, the Camp Chief Hector YMCA in Exshaw (no transportation available from Calgary), YMCA Bishop McNally and YMCA Camp Riveredge at Calgary’s Sandy Beach.

ESL Summer Day Camps

ESL Summer Day Camps |   3Y - 13Y
July 5 - September 1, 2010   |   8:30am - 4:30pm
Half-day choice also available for 3Y - 5Y
Offered at the South YMCA location only

English as a Second Language Day Camp participants get extra help with English while they enjoy arts and crafts, games, drama, gym time, singing, outdoor adventures and recreational swimming with English speaking campers. Each week, campers can look forward to one full-day field trip that does not include swimming. Pre- and post-care and financial assistance is available.
